Wig-Wham! was founded in 2001 by Jo Hilton.  Having been diagnosed with breast cancer, Jo underwent chemotherapy and radiotherapy, resulting in the loss of her long blond hair.

Jo found it embarrassing and impersonal to try wigs on in an environment such as a department store.  As a result, she started Wig-Wham!, creating a comfortable setting for people to try a wide range of styles and to help them to find the best style and colour for them.

I was delighted to join Jo at Wig-Wham, as I was aware of the need for stylish, comfortable, well fitting wigs for ladies who have had the misfortune to suffer hair loss.  I know how important a ladies hair is to her confidence and self esteem, that is why I feel committed to carry on the work that Jo started which I know has made a difference to a lot of ladies with similar problems.

The service I provide is within my home.  In a discreet comfortable environment, clients can try out wigs in a selection of styles and colours, until they find the perfect one for them.  My hairdressing skills enables me to trim wigs where necessary, customising them to
suit individual needs.
